Paddy Callahan launched his book “First Kill” recently at Ardgillan Castle near Skerries. It is a project he has worked on for almost the last ten years and it was only when he finally retired he could dedicate the time he needed to complete it. The book is fictional and there is plenty of “accurate” aviation related material incorporated to the story. Paddy’s career in aviation is worthy of a book in itself and he has worked in several companies from Iona to Cityjet and finally Aer Arann where he held the role of Flight Safety Officer after he retired as a Captain. The event was attended by many of Paddy’s aviation friends and he recognised people from Iona, Aer Arann, Ryanair and Private Sky to mention a few.
