After the decimation of its fleet reported in our last issue, Romanian carrier Blue Air took delivery Boeing 737-505 YR-BAH on 17th November. Formerly with SAS as LN-BRK it was delivered from Oslo to Bucharest. This leaves the airline with an active fleet of five aircraft as Boeing 737-33A, YR-BAA was returned to AWAS and re-registered N267AN. It was noted at Budapest on 1st December in full WebJet scheme as PR-WJW awaiting delivery. The other aircraft are two Boeing 737-300s (YR-BAC/F), one 400 (YR-BAE), one 500 (YR-BAG). It also operates some flights using leased aircraft. Boeing 737-8Q8 YR-BIF re-registered to ILFC as EI-EOP departed Shannon for Manchester on 22nd November for painting in the colours of Egyptian operator Midwest. It returned from the UK on 29th November.
