Large Jet heading West over Dublin (19:30)Was out for a walk in Howth this evening about 19:30 and saw a jet passing over Dublin heading west. As it was up so high all I could make out was that it was a widebody but couldnt decipher much else... Im presuming it was just a 747 or similar but Im kinda hoping I got my first, albeit vague shot of an A380 passing over these shores...
Anyone else know if there was one schedulled to pass over on their way Europe?
Re: Large Jet heading West over Dublin (19:30)If you mean coming from the west I just had a look on "casper" and it shows a 767 and an MD11, both heading east at around the time you mention
Re: Large Jet heading West over Dublin (19:30)Nope Keith sorry, actually I was just checking my directions there and it looked more west / south-westerly coming in from the Irish Sea....This machine had 4 jets so that rules out the 767 and MD11
Re: Large Jet heading West over Dublin (19:30)ps...meant to say North-West in the last post
Anyways I found it on Casper there, it was a 742 in the end
