New FII SiteHi guys,
New FII.com website was launched today. I'm working through a few bugs that have cropped up since testing. If you notice any bugs/problems please post them here and we'll get them sorted ASAP. All of the users in the old FII website have been moved into this site (you might need to update your bookmark!). Some users may find they are unable to login due to their password being incorrect, if this is the case, please visit http://flyinginireland.com/lost-password.html to reset your password. If you're unable to login please let me know by email using the "Contact Us" link on the left hand side. Regards, Mark
Re: New FII SiteHi Mark,
Great job, well done on the new layout, looks fresh and exciting, hope the flexibility you now have will be worth it to develop the site further So far, so good !! Regards, Brian - TFC.
Re: New FII SiteThe new layout is much better. However, one major drawback is that it is designed for screens wider than mine. I have a 1024px Screen and have to scroll across.
Re: New FII Sitehey mark

Re: New FII SiteYou've been busy! Well done... was wondering where the site had gone today...

Re: New FII SiteThanks for the comments guys.
Hi 9205X, we went for wider layout this time for two main reasons: 1) Our statistics package indicated that over 75% of visitors has a screen resolution over 1024 pixels 2) General feedback from the last website indicated that visitors thought the forum was too narrow which made reading long articles awkward and posting pictures difficult. I hope this doesn't put you off the site too much.
Hi Donal, the aircraft register will be back but it's not available at the moment. It's way out of date and is going to take some time to get up to date. Our aim was to get the new site up and running before Christmas and we ran into a few unexpected problems so it was not feasible to get the aircraft register ready in that time frame. Any other feedback is also most welcome, good or bad. If you don't want to post here please feel free to PM or email me. Regards,

Re: New FII SiteAhh, mystery solved Mark, thanks.
The button for new posts, sometimes at a glance it's hard to see if there's a new post. Maybe yellow like before would be easier to see. (Before people criticize me I have 20-20
Re: New FII SiteI like the new site but I think the Airfield section is a step down on what it was before. The photos are gone and the info is a bit higgldey piggldey. Bring back the photos please!!
Re: New FII SiteHi WT,
What browser are you using? I was only looking at the site through IE6 the other day (it doesn't look well with that browser!!) and I realised for some reason the pictures don't show up of the airfields. Can everyone else see the images ok? I'll try to reorganise the info a bit better. There's a section underneath the airport info when you click on the airfield picture that I can write all about the airfield and add photos, I just haven't got around to writing that up yet! (Any takers?) Regards, Mark Regards,

Re: New FII SiteLooks fine in Chrome.
Maybe you've an adblock program that's blocking the pictures ? ? (I'm running adthwart for chrome and can see the pictures just fine)
Re: New FII SiteSeeing as I'm using IE8 I'm sure it's another in the long list of problems I've been finding with it.
