Got to agree it does look nice. I have no issues with the shade of green it is worth comparing it with originals of the era. To this end I refer the readers to the publication "The Irish Air Corps Celebrates 100 years of flight". On page 37 there is what is described as a rare colour portrait of Spitfir # 163. The colours are all over green, red spinner etc. The difference in colour is the photo of 163 taken in March 1968 has a duller / matt green colour whereas 161 is a glosss finish.

However for the purists the roundel on 161 in this thread is two tone whereas all photos I can find of aircraft which were put into the Air Corps in that era had a three colour roundel (white added) including the aforementioned 163.

The Air Corps book is a great publication for anyone has not seen it.
