Pilot was so busy gabbing on final that he failed to drop the gear.. To those involved in aviation, this is actually more common than you might think. You hear this horn enough times and it becomes background noise. This plane crashed due to: The pilot overspeeding on the aproach, The pilot failed to flare, And he didn\'t go around after he hit the ground the first time. As you can see he does not attempt to save the plane but just lets it crash. The plane suffered broken nose wheel dmaged prop and the front cowling broke off. [More] [Less]

A Lufthansa Airlines airlines flight carrying 131 passengers narrowly escaped disaster during a landing attempt in gale force winds over the weekend in Hamburg, Germany. The Airbus A320 landed safely on the second attempt. (March 3)
